The secret item is a special type of [[item pickup]]. When collected, it flies offscreen in a random direction and grants the player a special reward.
Collecting a secret item will award the player one of three types of [[bonus|bonuses]], depending on the level. Receiving the [[ten cheerleader bonus]] counts as collecting this item, and awards the same additional bonus.▼
