The jelly blob is a [[respawning monster]]. Jelly blobs attack by launching goo projectiles into the air, which will fall on the head of players and [[victim]]s, restricting their movement, damaging them over time and preventing the use of [[weapon]]s and [[special item]]s. They can also attack via contact damage. Jelly blobs are immune to most weapons, but are vulnerable to the [[fire extinguisher]], [[ice pops]] and [[Pandora's box|Pandora's boxes]]. They can be found in any tileset, but are more common in the [[grass]] tileset. They have 26 hit points and award 200 points to the player when killed.

* [[Ice pops]] will often fail to kill jelly blobs despite hitting them directly.
* The goo projectiles will have their collision enabled before they land, which allows the player to predict where will they fall.

* There are a total of 37 jelly blob spawners in the game.
* Players can shake the goo off their head by rapidly moving left and right.
* Jelly blobs are likely based on the antagonist from the 1958 movie [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Blob The Blob].
**Jelly blobs weakness to cold weapons is a reference to the ending of the movie, in which the monster is defeated by being frozen.
* Pandora's box being able to kill jelly blobs is likely unintended since their death animation can only show them dying by cold means.
